Aufgabenstellung des Projekts
Small power plants but also industrial processes and larger commercial buildings can be participants of a virtual power plant (VPP). By shifting the operating time of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems the load profile of a building can be varied. In this project the availability and useability of dispatchable loads in commercial buildings are analysed.

Kurzbeschreibung des Projekts
The aim of the project is to identify and evaluate dispatchable loads using the examples of two different commercial buildings. The identified dispatchable loads are checked towards options and restrictions for their technical and organisational application. It will be analysed how the use of the identified dispatchable loads changes the comfort and the conditions of usage and whether this is acceptable. Furthermore the technical potential for dispatchable loads in commercial buildings will be identified for Germany based on the detailed analysis of the two example buildings.
